"Miss Cactus & the Desert" is led by Alondra Ladd,  a singer-songwriter and dancer originally born in Mexico. Miss Cactus' tunes bring in the dreamy coastal vibes as you listen to their danceable grooves and catchy hooks.

Alondra formed a group of musicians based out of Berklee College of Music to play her music in Boston. Miss Cactus & her band have since performed across the East coast in venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Shrine NYC, Silvana NYC, The Aeronat Brewing Company, The Bitter End, among others. They have also made radio appearances such as Berklee's BIRN shows BIRN ALIVE and The Kid's Table, as well as Boston University's Left of the Dial.

Miss Cactus & the Desert's debut single "Laugh at the Confusion" was released everywhere on January 2015. On March 2018, the reggae pop act released a music video for 'Big Plans," the first single off their EP OASIS.

Then their feminist anthem "Dating school" was released on July 2018. Their EP OASIS is scheduled to release this August.
